When I posted the other day I was totally distracted. Our project took longer than expected so everything was sort of crunched for time. And I was determined to to blog, only because I am the kind of person who will most likely forget and never do it. So, poor Lexi, we missed her ice skating lesson. :( I felt sooo bad. She forgave me but I am still beating myself up for it.
Anyhow, my point to all of this was supposed to be that through all of my distraction I intended on writing about how much FUN the girls had with this project. (We are not done by the way) And I was trying so hard to make it clear what we were doing, (did i make it clear?), that I missed the fun part.
So with that in mind...Alexis in between finishing each little alphabet symbol would throw her hands up and YAHOO at each accomplished letter. I learned that Kendra is a perfectionist. Not only did she have her engravings done but she had to make sure they were done perfect and that there were no little scraps left along the way. This made it fun for the girls to learn about some of our ancient history. We are finishing up next week and will put together a little portfolio on a poster board. That's to come.
